Add, Replace, or Keep a Spare • 120g All-Shift Comfort • Registers in Seconds

The Pro9 Headset (Q-P9HS) is an individual wireless headset for use with an existing Quail Digital Pro9 system. Add coverage as your crew grows, replace a damaged unit, or keep a charged spare on the shelf so a failure at peak never costs you the lane. Registration takes seconds over the near-field IR link — no tools, no configuration, no service call.

Please note: this is a single headset, not a complete system. An existing Pro9 base station is required.

Key Features

  • Works With Your Existing Pro9 System — Registers to any installed Pro9 base station, making it straightforward to expand crew coverage or swap in a replacement without reconfiguring the system.
  • Hands-Free IR Registration — Near-field wireless infrared pairing brings a new headset online in seconds. Any manager can do it; no technician required.
  • 120g All-Shift Comfort — Weighs just 120 grams with the battery installed, light enough that crew keep it on through a full shift rather than setting it down.
  • Noise-Cancelling Order Capture — Acoustic noise cancelling directed at the order point speaker isolates the customer's voice from lane and kitchen noise for accurate order taking.
  • Four Operating Channels — Order taker (T1, T2), table service, and paging, with single-touch selection and color-coded LEDs — green, blue, amber, and white — so status is readable at a glance.
  • Audio Prompts — An audible beep confirms every change of status, so crew know what channel they're on without looking.
  • Five Stepped Volume Levels — Per-headset volume adjustment lets each crew member set their own comfortable level.
  • Automatic Sleep Mode — Powers down after ten minutes of no movement, preserving battery on units left off the charger.
  • Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery — 750mAh, 3.7V lithium-ion polymer, charged in any Pro9 8-bay charger.
  • Commercial Certifications — FCC Part 15, IC RSS-213, EMC and acoustic safety approvals for North American commercial deployment.

Expansion Without a Service Call

Crew levels change. Shifts get busier, a location adds a position, someone drops a unit on concrete. Adding a Pro9 headset doesn't require a technician visit or a system reconfiguration — hold it to the base station, let the IR link register it, and it's on the lane.

Built to Be Worn, Not Put Down

The most common reason drive-thru audio fails is that a headset isn't on someone's head. At 120 grams, Pro9 is light enough to stay on through a full shift, which is why crews actually keep them on and why orders keep getting taken accurately at hour seven.

Plan for Battery Life

Quail recommends replacing headset batteries after approximately 500 charge cycles. For a location running headsets daily, that's a predictable consumable — worth building into your maintenance schedule alongside spare headsets so you're replacing on your terms rather than mid-rush.

Ideal Use Cases

  • Expanding crew coverage on an existing Pro9 lane
  • Replacing a damaged, lost, or worn headset
  • Maintaining on-hand spares to eliminate downtime
  • Multi-unit operators standardizing spares across locations
